Miruna was the first owner of My Bengals. She started it in 2017 as the fulfillment of a passion to raise Bengals that were not only beautiful but allergy/ asthma friendly as well. She had suffered from allergies and asthma all her life and was never able to have a cat due to those allergies/asthma triggers. Through a turn of events and research on her part, she took the plunge and decided to start her breeding program, which she has enjoyed ever since, WITHOUT any allergy or asthma reactions to the cats! She has recently decided to change course in her life, and has retired from Bengal breeding and has passed the fur babies on to me (Vicky)
My Bengal story is different than Miruna's. Miruna was the one who introduced me to Bengals, and she kept telling me that these are a different kind of cat. She knew how much of a cat lover I was and we talked about it often. I was surprised and excited when she gave me one of her fur babies as a special gift. She was right, Athos was a cat who acted like a dog. He loved to take baths with me, playing in the water. He would follow me around checking out whatever I was doing. If I was in the garden he was right there helping me dig, or rolling in the dirt. He was like this his whole life. His fur felt as soft as hair and when I took pictures of him, it was like he changed color because the glitter in his coat would pick up different parts of the light when he walked.
When Miruna asked if we would be interested in taking over My Bengals we could not believe she would trust us to carry on with her fur babies. We felt very blessed and are still in a daze. Even though the business is changing owners it will still be run with the same high quality Bengals that My Bengals is known for and we are thrilled to have Miruna as a mentor as we learn about raising our own Bengal babies for families like yours.
So, please, stay a while. Relax and enjoy finding out about My Bengals brand!
